JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
Responsible for the administration of the bank’s corporate network and all infrastructure with the key aim of ensuring operational performance, capacity, and security and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Test network and server performance; provide network/server performance statistics and reports to ensure proper maintenance of the network/Server infrastructure.
• Monitor bandwidth usage, analyze traffic patterns and volumes, determine the impact/implications of issues and thereafter make recommendations.
• Develop, Plan/schedule maintenance activities and communicate standards for the use, and security of the network in a timely manner.
• Come up with specifications for all new I.T. equipment for Technical Services and recording and taking proper inventory of all Network & infrastructure assets of the Bank.
• Ensure that substantive Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans are in place, regularly tested and updated.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, network operating system problems and other LAN/WAN-related malfunctions.
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration.
• Resolve problems reported by end users.
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Perform diagnostics of network issues.
• Perform day to day operational tasks such as proactive maintenance, management, monitoring performance, incident and problem management, security, and backup and recovery across the network infrastructure.
• Run End of Day, End of Month and End of year operations
• Provide support for hardware and software issues.
• Responsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, and urgent system patching.

Education.
• Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or other related field.

Skills and competencies.
• Understanding of IT Networks,IT Security,Operating Systems(Windows and Linux)
• CCNA certified
