JOB DETAILS:
Job Brief: The Interface Manager will manage a team of engineering, procurement and construction support and coordinate interfaces between internal and external project teams. Specific interfaces to be managed include those between EACOP CONTRACTORS, External Parties, key Stakeholders, and the Client.
The Interface Manager will report to the Programme Services Manager and will ensure all groups under their management adhere to and follow all HSE requirements of the project in accordance with Worley standards, processes, and expectations.
Required Competencies
• Competency and proven experience within Worley or equivalent proprietary management systems and associated desktop applications for project delivery
• Competency within industry applications such as Assure, OMIE, Aconex, SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance, risk controls and HSE requirements.
• A high focus on identifying and meeting the key business / project deliverables and objectives.
• Demonstrated planning, organising skills and ability to manage several interface streams simultaneously.
• Comprehensive understanding of interface management within complex projects, including execution methods and associated functional support.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading the development and implementation of the 3rd party interface agreements for major infrastructure projects
• Comprehensive knowledge in coordinating the interface requirements between the onshore Project planning, controls, procurement, logistics, fabrication, transportation, installation, and commission teams
• Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to articulate complex interface concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.
• Previous experience working with multicultural teams and reporting their performance.
• Staff management experience (knowledge of mentoring and motivation techniques)
• Autonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities.
Required Experience
• Cross functional experience within interface management, engineering, package management, project management and planning.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly as an interface manager / coordinator, establishing, and implementing tools and processes to support cross-functional oil & gas project teams. Supporting; engineering, project controls and construction.
• Experience and detailed understanding of policy, processes, and governance practices involved in interface planning for and delivering major projects within a government setting.
• A minimum of 2 years’ direct pipeline experience within an Interface management role.
Required Qualifications or Education
• Professional Qualification / Degree within industry related discipline. Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and member of a recognised engineering institute.
