INVITATION NOTICE FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND BIDDING FY: 2024/2025
Rubanda District Local Government Procuring and Disposing Entity intends to prequalify firms for provision of works supplies and services for financial year 2024-2025 Procurement and Prequalification will be conducted in accordance with prequalification/ open competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003 as amended. Rubanda District Local Government therefore invites sealed bids from interested registered and competent firms and individuals for prequalification and the exercise is open to all National eligible bidders

LOT A: WORKS
• Construction and Renovation of Buildings and civil works.
• Protection of water springs and Rehabilitation of Bore Holes

LOT B SUPPLIES
• Printing, Photo copying, binding and supply of stationery
• Supply of cleaning and sanitation equipment
• Supply of fuels, lubricants and servicing of vehicles.
• Supply of Uniforms, beddings and protective gear.
• Supply and maintenance of school and office furniture
• Supply of hardware materials and equipment
• Supply and installation of culverts.
• Supply of local road construction materials, Gravel, Hard core Coarse Aggregates, Sand.
• Supply of Electricity.
• Supply of Computers, Computer hardware's, Computer soft wares, photocopiers, consumables and accessories
• Supply of plant and motor vehicle spare parts.
• Provision and Supply of District Staff Identification Cards and publications.
• Supply of sports equipment
• Supply of Sustainable land management tools
• Supply of on farm and off farm livelihood options (animals)
• Supply of Agricultural inputs, tools and equipment
• Printing and supply of exams to primary schools

LOT C SERVICES
• Compound maintenance services
• Telecommunication services and Airtime
• Advertising and public relations.
• Repair and maintenance of Plants and Motor Vehicles
• Repair and maintenance of Motor cycles.
• Hotel and conference, meeting venues and catering
• Hire of Road Equipment

All bidders are required to buy and fill the standard bid documents and address them to the Secretary Contracts Commitee Rubanda District Local Government. Non refundable fee should be paid on Rubende District Local Government General Fund Account No: Account No: 3100048338 in the Centenary Bank-Kabale Branch. Bidders must present the bank pay in slip to the cashier Rubanda District Treasury Office to obtain a general receipt to be submitted to the Procurement and Disposal Unit in order to be issued the bidding document

Bid documents should be obtained from Procurement and Disposal Unit during working hours from 8:00 am-5:00pm in the District Procurement and Disposal Unit Office
The bid documents (3 in number) must be numbered and signed starting from the first page to the last page with indelible ink and the contents of the original document must be the same as the contents of the photocopies
Late bid submissions shall be automatically rejected
The Contracts committee is not bound to accept the lowest or highest bidder or any bid.
The bid documents submitted must be spiral bound

NB: Providers for LOT A, B & C are required to give quotations and shall be awarded framework contracts.
