1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for provision of Casual Labour Services for a period of one year.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services for Nalubale and Kiira Power Plants in Jinja District.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and Regulations 2014 is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at (7) from 9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

5. The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Uganda shillings one hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011177319, Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) before or on March 3, 2023 at 11.00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of  UGX 2,000,000/- (Uganda shillings two million hundred thousand only). The Bid Security must be valid until September 5, 2023. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below on March 3, 2023 at 11.10am.
