INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
PROCUREMENT NOTICE NO.854/2024/2025/01
Karenga District Local Government Procuring and Disposing Entity will receive funds from 2. Servicing and maintenance of Office Equipment (Computers, Photocopiers and printers the Central Government under Conditional and Unconditional Grants for FY 2024-2025 for implementation of various Projects. The District now invites sealed bids from competent companies, firms, and individuals for pre-qualification, annual framework contracts and Open Domestic Bidding for various works, supplies and services as listed below.

PREQUALIFICATION
WORKS
• General Building and Construction works
• Drilling of boreholes
• Construction of mini water supply systems

SUPPLIES
• Supply of Culverts 600mm Diameter, 900mm Diameter and 1200 mm diameter
• Supply of Cement, Aggregates and Building sand.
• Supply and installations of mini grid solar system
• Supply of school desks
• Supply of GNSS survey equipment
• Supply of boreholes pump parts
• Supply of chemical and laboratory equipment

SERVICES
• Consultancy services for feasibility study and design of water supply systems

ANNUAL FRAMEWORK (DIRECT) CONTRACTS
SUPPLIES
• Supply of Fuel, Oil & Lubricants.
• Supply of Tyres & Tubes.
• Supply of Stationeries & IEC materials
• Supply of Office Furniture (Tables, Desks, filing cabinets, Chairs, Shelves and Cupboard)
• Supply of computers and its accessories

SERVICES
• Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
• Provision of catering services (meals, refreshment, hall hire and accommodation) Provision of hire of public address system, Tents, chairs and tables for public functions

Karenga District Procuring & Disposing Entity will develop a register of short-listed providers for the various contracts as required under Regulation 28 of the Public Procurement & Dis- posal of Public Assets Regulation 2023, from successful providers who will respond to this advertisement.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Domestic Bidding and Pre-qualification procedures contained in regulations 13 & 28 of the Public Procurement & Disposal of Public Assets Regulation 2023.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All Interested bidders must submit the following additional documents accompanying their bids;
• Original General Receipt for purchase of bid document
• A copy of the Bidder's Current Trading licence for 2024
• A copy of the Bidder's Certificate of Registration
• A copy of current certified Bidder's Income Tax Clearance certificate.
• Audited book of Accounts for the last two years.
• Recent Bank Statement at least for the last three (3) months.
• Articles and Memorandum of Association and together with Power of Attorney
• Bid Documents MUST be returned in triplicate (Original and two copies).
• Bid Documents must be sealed in a plain envelope and clearly marked as; (The Bid should be addressed to Secretary contracts committee, Karenga District Local Government P.O. Box 102 Kitgum.
• Each number constitutes a lot and must be applied for separately with an application and reference number as indicated.
• You are advised to carefully study, understand apare the bids in time according to
• the Instruction to Bidders and the requirements therein to avoid being Non-responsive
• All Bids Being Returned Must First Be Registered in The Bids Returned Register Before They Are Dropped in The Bid Box. Bidders Are Advised to Buy and Retum Their Bids within reasonable time and late submissions shall not be accepted.

The Closing date and time for this bidding process is Friday, 26 July 2024 at EXACT- LY 10.30am and thereafter public bids opening shall be on Friday, 26th July 2024 at EXACTLY 11.00am, at Karenga District Council Hall in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

NB: Any form of canvassing shall lead to automatic disqualification.
