INVITATION TO TENDER FOR BUSINESS CASE ANALYSES OF BIOCONTROL AGENTS STUDY IN UGANDA.

Name of Project: Ecological innovations for smallholder pest management in Malawi, Uganda and Zambia-EcoPM
Background
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a public-benet German company with wonwide operations in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development GIZ Uganda though EcoPM invites bids from competent and eligible firms or individuals to provide consultancy services for business case analyses of biocontrol agents study in Uganda as per Terms of reference attached to this email
Eligibility criteria
The following information and documents will be required during evaluation on pass a basis and non-compliant bids will be eliminated
Registered powers of attomey authorizing signatory representative of the firm to sign bics tenders on behalf of the firm writing and should be addressed to GIZ Uganda via email Procurement-giz- uganda@giz.de at least 5days prior to the bid submission deadline. Please indicate in the subject tender reference number 83466143-business case analyses of biocontrol agents' study in Uganda”.
Bids Offers Submission Deadline date and time.
Interested bidders should submit their bids offers electronically by 20th June 2024 at 4.00pm (EAT) to UG Quotation@giz.de indicating in the subject the tender reference number 83456143-business case analyses of biocontrol agents' study in Uganda".
Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the subject may disqualify your offer directly as it may fail to be received in the tender box
Current and valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to GIZ Vaid Trading License
Late submissions will not be accepted!
Bid validity period of 120 working days
Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy shall be rejected.

Only bids submitted to UG Quotation@giz.de are acceptable. You should have offers in PDF and zip folders. Do not encrypt offers since they may be incompatible with GIZ software.
Two separate emails should be used one submitting technical proposal offer and second email submitting Financial Proposal Offer
Only filtranferenser pizde for submission of documents exceeding the default mail size of 30 MB should be used or use three separate emails one submitting the eligibility documents, a second one submitting the technical proposal offer and third email submitting Financial Proposal Offer. Please provide password for your submission before the deadline and reference the tender number for which the password applies. Failure to provide the password will lead to automatic disqualification of your offer.
Financial offer should strictly be in Uganda shillings currency using the Bid sheet template provided.
Failure to follow the above instruction may lead your offer to be encrypted and rejected.
GIZ remains with full rights to cancel this process at any stage without informing providers and at no cost refund to the providers who participate in this tender process.
