INVITATION TO TENDER FOR HELPLINE SETUP AT THE MINISTRY OF GENDER, LABOUR AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT TENDER REFERENCE NO: 83468154 Name of Project: BMM
Background
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Gmbh is a German federal company for technical cooperation that has been operating in Uganda since 1964 to promote sustainable development on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
GIZ Uganda through the Better Migration Management (BMM) Programme invites bids from competent and eligible firms to provide consultancy services for Helpline Setup at the Ministry of Gender. Labour and Social Development (MGLSD)
Eligibility criteria
The following information and documents will be required during evaluation on pass fail basis and non-compliant bids will be eliminated:
• Registered powers of attorney authorizing signatory representative of the firm to sign bids/tenders on behalf of the firm
• Current and valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to GIZ
• Valid Trading License
• Bid validity period of 120 working days.

Bids/ Offers Submission Deadline date and time Interested bidders should submit their bids offers electronically by de indicating in the subject the tender reference number: 4.00pm (EAT) 02.08.2024 to UGQuotation@giz. 83468154-Helpline Setup at MGLSD.
Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the subject may disqualify your offer automatically as it may fail to be received in the fender box
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy shall be rejected
Only bids submitted to UG Quotation@giz.de are acceptable.
Bids should be submitted in PDF and/or in zip folders
Two separate emails should be used when making the submission, one submitting the Technical Proposal offer and second email submitting Financial Proposal offer.
Only file transfer https:/filetransfer.giz.del should be used for submission of documents exceeding the default email size of 30 MB. Or use two separate emails, one submitting the eligibility documents with the Technical Proposal offer and second email submitting the Financial Proposal Offer Please provide password for your submission before the deadline and reference the tender number for which the password applies. Failure to provide the password will lead to automatic disqualification of your offer.
The currency for the Financial Proposal should strictly be in Uganda Shilings using the Bid Sheet template provided. 0. Failure to follow the above instruction may lead your offer to be encrypted and rejected
GIZ reserves the right to cancel this process at any stage
