PROCUREMENT NOTICE No.MoES-GUL/UGIFT/WRKS/2024-2025/00001

Gulu District Local Government has received UGIFT funds to be used for construction of school facilities (classroom blocks, laboratories, and staff houses) at Pakia Seed Secondary School. Gulu District Local Government invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of works in the underlisted item.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s public procurement and disposal of public assets Act 2003 as amended.

  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at:
    Gulu District Local Government, Procurement and Disposal Unit, Room 12, 1st Floor Administration Block.

  3. The bidding documents for the detailed project can be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. Payment shall be made at Stanbic Bank Gulu Branch under the account name: Gulu District General Funds, A/C 9030005814728.

  4. Bids must be accompanied with bid security in form of bank guarantee or bank draft of UGX 25,000,000 issued by a recognized bank or insurance firm licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda.

  5. Sealed bids must be delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) on or before 10:00 am, 30th December 2024. Late bids shall be rejected.

  6. Public bid opening will take place immediately after the bid closing time at 10:30 am, 30th December 2024 in the Gulu District Council Hall.

  7. All bids shall be addressed to:
