SALES MANAGER ( 1 POSITION) RE-ADVERTISED

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling of vehicles and the associated services based on the production volumes to meet the sales targets of Kiira Motors Corporation through effective planning and budgeting.

Salary Scale:    K3(4)

Reports to:       Director Marketing and Sales

Responsible for:

  1. Principal Sales Executive (Dealerships)
  2. Principal Sales Executive (Direct Vehicle Sales)
  3. Principal Sales Executive (Value Added Services)
  4. Principal Sales Executive (Asset Finance)

Key Functions:

  1. Conduct market surveys to identify potential customers interested in making vehicle purchases;
  2. Coordinate company resources to Reach out to clients through calls, field visits and arranged meetings to spot their needs/preferences;
  3. Map potential customers and generate new market leads for the organization;
  4. Manage the company’s brand promotion while expounding on the vehicles features, specifications, and capability to meet customer requirements;
  5. Create and Maintain client relations while assisting clients in selecting suitable products that suits their specifications and preference;
  6. Conduct price negotiations to strike a favorable bargain optimal for both client and the Company;
  7. Employ up-to-date knowledge of product features/characteristics in addressing client misconceptions or inquiry about a particular model;
  8. Maintain contact with clients to ensure an opening for future business proposals and sales offers
  9. Oversee the closing of sales deals ensuring explanation of product warranty terms, completion of sales contracts, payment and delivery of products and services;
  10. Present regular reports to management on sales activities and maximized profits;
  11. Formulate sales policies, strategies practices and procedures and direct their implementation and execution;
  12. Maintain a positive and ethical work environment that is conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels within the Sales Division;
  13. Facilitate, develop, and assist with training for both internal and external clients to help raise awareness concerning vehicle sales;
  14. Supervision and overall management of the Sales Division and its activities, providing technical guidance, project management and leadership and performance monitoring;
  15. Lead, mentor develop, train and appraise personnel in the Sales Division to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities;
  16. Development and implementation of Monthly Work Plans and Performance Reports necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities; and
  17. Any other duties assigned by the Director Marketing and Sales

Person Specifications:

(a)    Minimum Academic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Marketing and Sales or Related Field from a recognized Institution
  2. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Science, Sales Management or in a related field from a recognized institution; and
  3. Membership to the Professional Body in the Sales Field or Equivalent is an Added Advantage.

(b)    Minimum Experience

General working Experience of at least Twelve (12) years. The applicant should have served in a Supervisory/Management Position in Vehicle Sales in a reputable organization for at least seven (7) years

INVESTMENT ANALYST (1 POSITION)

JOB SUMMARY

The Investment Analyst is responsible for informing and implementing investment plans and avenues to ensure KMC’s leadership in the development, making and sale of Sustainable Mobility Solutions (Motor Vehicles, Parts, Systems & Services) in Africa. The Investment Analyst will support the KMC’s investment evaluation process and assessment of potential new investment opportunities

Salary Scale:    K6(1)

Reports to:    Senior Investment Analyst

Key Functions:

  1. Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend an investment or partnership decision;
  2. Evaluate prospective projects using an investment criteria and recommend next steps;
  3. Create financial models for investment projects;
  4. Prepare Investor Prospectus for potential investors;
  5. Provide updates on financial markets activities in order to position KMC in the local and regional market;
  6. Examine and assess economic and market trends, revenue projections, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to inform KMC’s investment strategies and plans;
  7. Make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funding for KMC;
  8. Draft investment cases and business plans to support the investment process;
  9. Prepare Monthly Work Plans and Performance Reports necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities; and
  10. Any other duties assigned by the Senior Investment Analyst.

Person Specifications:

(a)    Minimum Academic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Related Field from a recognized Institution.;

(b)    Minimum Experience

  1. This is an entry level Position therefore no Experience is required. However, demonstrated Knowledge and Skill in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science are required.

PLANT OPERATOR I (VEHICLE TEST DRIVER) (6 POSITIONS)

JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Operator I (Vehicle Test Driver) is responsible for driving and maintaining the assigned Production Vehicles and Production Equipment in the production and Market Validation environment in accordance with the company processes, guidelines and regulations as well as the Traffic and Road Safety Act 1998 (As Amended) and other applicable regulations.

Salary Scale:    KT6(1)

Reports to:      Plant Supervisor

Key Functions:

  1. Testing and Driving Production Vehicles and Production Equipment.
  2. Operating Mobility Energy and Technology Systems for Testing EVs and ICE Production Vehicles.
  3. Logging and Reporting test data from vehicle test and market validation drills to the supervising officer.
  4. Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of the Production Vehicles and Production Equipment.
  5. Reporting all Technical and Mechanical defects of the Production Vehicles and Production Equipment to the supervising officer.
  6. Observing all Health Safety and Environmental requirements during the execution of duties assigned.
  7. Preparing Monthly Work Plans and Performance Reports necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities; and
  8. Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time.

Person Specifications:

(a)   Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  1. Valid Driving License to Drive a Bus (Minimum Class/Group DE).
  2. Certificate in Defensive Driving.

(b)    Experience (Minimum Requirements)

  1. Three (3) years’ experience in Driving Medium and Heavy Duties Buses and Commercial Vehicles with knowledge of Manual, Automatic and Electric Transmission (Must Undergo a Personality Test). Experience in driving Medium to Heavy Electric Vehicles and Operating Mobility Energy and Technology Systems (Chargers and Fuel Pumps) is an added advantage.
