Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and executing contract strategies including tendering, negotiating and placement of contract packages in compliance with the company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute contract strategies for approval by the Contracts Committee.
  • Review and further develop specifications and scopes of work in conjunction with the stakeholder teams.
  • Develop, compile and conduct prequalification exercises (PQQ), Call for Tender (CFT) packages, tender openings, evaluation of received tenders, including detailed analysis of commercial and contractual qualifications, contract negotiation and execution of contracts.
  • Provide contractual guidance and support to stakeholder teams during the contract management process including post contract award interpretation, administration matters, claims, contract amendments and renewals, supplier performance reviews
  • Prepare and issue Recommendation To Award (RTA) documentation including bid evaluation reports for submission to the Contracts Committee and relevant parties, in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, Joint Operating Agreements (JOA), Production Sharing Agreements (PSA) and applicable Oil & Gas legislation.
  • Conducts accurate filing of all contract related documentation including approvals, in line with company policies to ensure cost recoverability.
  • Provide management information for reporting purposes

Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in a business management, commercial or engineering related subject. CIPS qualifications preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in executing simple to complex contracts in a busy environment.
  • Good understanding of contract risks, legal terms and conditions, including liabilities and indemnities and commercial terms.
  • Formulating, evaluating and negotiating complex contracts
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with diverse business drivers and variables
  • Ability to prioritise activities in line with business needs
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
  • High level of competency in the Microsoft Suite of applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 
 

Job Description

Main Accountabilities:

Corporate Planning
  • Lead the Long-Term Plan of the subsidiary through its entire process: preparation with TEPU’s entities (technical and cost inputs), consolidation with the economist, and reporting/presentation to HQ
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual Work Program & Budget, and more specifically be the interface with the technical teams for the preparation, consolidation, and reporting/presentation
  • Consolidate the Integrated Operations Planning within TEPU and ensure the process, governance and tools are in place to facilitate management meetings and definition of action plans
  • Participate in the annual reserves exercise (Prime) by providing costs and schedule assumptions
  • Contribute to any internal governance process and comex pack preparation.
Development:
  • Lead and coordinate petroleum architecture / development studies (screening, concept, pre-project) performed within the subsidiary or by HQ – Budget > 2M$ / years.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and the update of Field Development Plans (5 to 6 FDPs covering 4-5B$ investment).
  • Support the economics evaluation of prospects (exploration or upsides within Production Licenses).
  • Prepare decision support package and participate in quality reviews and any other Committees to sanction new developments.
  • Define the Master Development Plan beyond Tilenga Water Flood FID case (sequence of infills, polymer flood EOR, and tie-back developments) to increase plateau duration
  • Follow-up the power requirements of the integrated upstream / midstream assets
  •  Be the subsidiary focal point for Carbon Footprint Reduction and define the roadmap to reduce GHG
Joint Venture:
  • Contribute and defend TotalEnergies development scheme towards partners and regulator
  • Support JV and FIN teams in the annual Work Program & Budget process with Partners and Authorities.
  • Supervise the technical follow-up of Operated-By-Other Asset, through technical reviews and budget monitoring
Business Intelligence:
  • Participate to asset and new venture opportunity evaluation EP / Refinery / Buy Products / REN
  • Use analytics to develop benchmarks and support subsidiary’s performance improvements
Team Coaching:
  • Manage directly a team of 5 people (2 Senior Planning & Dev’t Engineers, 2 junior or confirmed Planning & Dev’t Engineers, and 1 Permitting Coordinator)
  • Coach the team through appropriate “On the Job Training” tasks to enable smooth and continuous development of its individual members
  • Share technical knowledge and HQ/aboard experience feedback to increase members’ technical autonomy, with the ultimate objective from them to be able to coordinate the required development studies with HQ Petroleum Architects
  • Share key finance / economics knowledge to increase members’ finance awareness related to Oil & Gas investment, with the ultimate objective from them to be able to support corporate planning exercises.
  • Guide team members through HQ processes and referential.
  • Develop team proficiency with methods and tools required to meet HQ standards and corporate planning objective

Candidate profile

Qualifications and Experience
  • Master’s in engineering with multi-disciplinary experience in Oil & Gas industry (holding an MBA or a Corporate Finance diploma would be a plus).
  • Minimum 12 years in the upstream sector, including several years in technical positions related to at least 2 different technical domains (such as field operations, engineering, project, geoscience, drilling, or HSE) and previous responsibilities as team leader and with head offices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Due Diligence Compliance:
  • Maintain an extensive understanding and assist to reinforce the implementation of TEPU’s Due Diligence rules on a day-to-day basis throughout the different functions.
  • Work closely with C&P Team and Compliance Team to ensure active vendor compliance to the Due Diligence process.
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing TEPU Suppliers panel; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Capitalize information and communicate Vendors Due Diligence status to our Internal stakeholders within our Internal databases of Information.
  • Promote and implement the Compliance Program of the Group through Third-Party Due Diligence audits.
Update of Processes / Procedures / Key Performance monitors and particularly;
  • Draft, update and implementation of referential procedures and the Group Company Rules relating to procurement activities.
  • Ensure consistency and keep updated C&P local referential and its respect by users.
  • Implement the archiving policy for all supply chain documentation within the defined storage locations in affiliate and Group and keep updated an archiving tracker of the C&P entity.
  • Conduct induction sessions for onboarding new personnel within the affiliate and external stakeholders to increase knowledge of the supply chain processes and values of the affiliate.
  • Implement and follow-up action plans related to audit findings.
Oversee Markets intelligence/monitoring:
  • Gather and process information on purchasing, markets regionally and with local suppliers.
  • Conduct regional and local market surveys to establish an understanding of the supplier market per category with a view to supporting the National Content team with improved Local content maximization, drive the registration to the Petroleum National Supplier Database wider pool of strategic partners that improve the supply chain performance.
  • Support Buying and Contracts engineers when performing market studies.
Supplier Management:
  • Implement an efficient Supplier management process within the affiliate through pre-qualification rounds, performance monitoring, promotion of progressive qualification of local suppliers in line with National Content targets for sourcing locally available goods and services.
  • Improve and keep updated the supplier pre-qualification process/procedures in line with the Group referential and best industry practices.
  • In collaboration with TGP division, participate in the development of a reference supplier database for the Group.
  • Maintain a local supplier data base to support market intelligence, trends analysis and selected procurements.
  • Support contracts engineers when performing supplier evaluations and remain accountable for the proper record keeping of the outcome of the evaluation exercises.
  • Identify of the affiliate ten top suppliers and coordinate with the Contracts and Buying teams to perform the annual performance evaluation of these identified.
Analysis/Reporting:
  • Develop quarterly third-party Due Diligence status and trends reports and submit to C&P Manager, Affiliate Compliance Manager and Group Audit team.
  • Follow up the update and alignment of affiliate C&P procedures with Group referential and regulatory requirements.
Communication:
  • Facilitate the internal communication between C&P and other entities of the affiliate for procurement matters
  • In liaison with the National Content team, support quarterly supplier development engagements
  • Liaise with the TGP division about procurement activities and promote exchange of information with the other Affiliates and with the external entities about procurement activities.

Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Procurement, or related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in a business, legal or commercial role. Experience in contracts & procurement function in the Oil & Gas Industry is an added advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of Supplier category management is also an added advantage.
  • Advanced Management and Human Relations, Planning and problem solving oriented, strong organization and coordination skills, excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced level in Contracts technical Competencies required.
  • Good written (drafting) and verbal communication skills.

 
 

Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary coordinator/Superintendent for a dedicated area of the construction site: follow-up the sequence of work-fronts and liaise with the construction contractor area managers and superintendents
  • Ensure that Contractors progress on the appropriate high-priority work-fronts in order to stick to the level-3 schedule
  • To check, in accordance with needs, the preparation, issue and implementation by Construction Contractors of Construction, Engineering documents including detailed procedures, method statements, drawings, calculation notes, Construction Equipment, construction, list of personnel, planning back-up procedures if necessary.
  • Identify & analyze the weak points which penalize the productivity and propose corrective actions.
  • Review the development of execution plans / schedule for his/her discipline during the construction phase
  • Advice the Construction Manager (RSES) South on all issues related to sequencing and scheduling of work fronts.
  • Liaise with other Superintendents and Supervisors to make sure that all interfaces are managed effectively.
  • Liaise with other Superintendents, Supervisors and with Construction Manager (RSES) South to make sure that the construction complies with all Project Design Documentation, with Company Standards and Procedures, and with applicable international Codes, Standards and Practices.

Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree holder or equivalent
  • 15 years or more of relevant international project construction experience in large onshore/offshore oil and gas projects.
  • Previous experience in large onshore/offshore oil and gas construction projects. Recognized level of expertise in construction discipline with a good knowledge of TOTAL E&P general specifications and/or previous experience with other major IOC’s in large oil and gas construction projects. Significant. Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
