Salary: 6,000,000 Ugx gross pay
The Civil Engineer will design, plan, and supervise the construction of infrastructure projects such as buildings and warehouses for our client.
Other Roles;• Performing due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
• Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
• Surveying new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades.
• Designing and recommending improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
• Performing cost estimations and preparing project budgets.
• Preparing work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Ensuring that civil engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspecting completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers and clients.
• Legal compliance must ensure that their projects comply with local government laws and regulations.
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required, master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer
• Licensure as a professional engineer (PE) is an added advantage
Security OfficerDuty Station: Nsambya
Salary: 800,000 Ugx net pay
Responsibilities• Patrol hotel premises regularly to maintain order
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Requirements and skills• Proven experience as a Security Officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Experience in surveillance systems
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
Sales Manager (Restaurant, hotel bookings, facilities banqueting)
Salary: 3,500,000 Ugx net pay (Negotiable)
Roles• Develop a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.
• Plan sales promotions, set sales goals, and train new staff.
• Implement all sales action plans related to key market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
• Support the hotel's service and relationship strategy, and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Requirements• Successful previous experience of at least 5 years as a sales executive or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Sales experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the company and clientele.
