The DAO actively engages with and supports emerging Web3 talent locally, fostering relationships with incubator programs and developers to empower those interested in building on Celo.

This includes providing essential support for projects, with the potential for further funding from the Celo Ecosystem. The DAO plays a crucial role in community education and university outreach, guiding new members through the Celo ecosystem and conducting outreach programs in universities to ensure widespread understanding and adoption of Celo within the community and is dedicated to building market awareness and establishing a robust brand presence by strategically distributing content.

Role Overview
As a Level 1 Developer, your responsibilities extend beyond code; you're the architect who seamlessly integrates blockchain functionalities into web and mobile applications, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Being a Protocol Pioneer, you contribute to the development, optimization, and security of the infrastructure and protocols that underpin the Web3 ecosystem. As a Constant Learner, you thrive in the dynamic Web3 landscape, staying ahead of the technological curve. Strong fundamental programming skills are a must. Your familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms and cryptography, is crucial. A basic understanding of Solidity is required, and your eagerness to delve deeper into its intricacies is key. Your problem-solving skills shine as you tackle complex issues, breaking them down into manageable solutions. Collaboration is at the heart of your work, requiring effective communication and teamwork with developers, designers, and other experts to bring dApps to life.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain dApps on Celo and Minipay.
2. Design and implement smart contracts using Solidity or other relevant languages.
3. Integrate blockchain functionalities into web and mobile applications.
4. Craft compelling content (articles, blog posts, scripts) across various formats explaining Web3 concepts, projects, and trends.
5. Stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving Web3 landscape.
6. Attached to one project that they will be contributing to from the incubation program.
7. Contributing via office hours

Requirements
1. Understanding of fundamental programming concepts
2. Familiarity with web3 stack e.g Solidity
3. At least 1 year of experience shipping solutions
4. Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals like consensus mechanisms and cryptography.
5. A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest Web3 technologies.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
