BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Kiira Power Station Powerhouse Building Roof Membrane Replacement
UEGCL/WRKS/2024-25/20843

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for works for Kiira Power Station Powerhouse Building Roof Membrane Replacement.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act Cap 205 and regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at (7) from 9 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

5. The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Ugandan Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011777319, Stanbic Bank, upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) before or on February 19th, 2025, at 11:10 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 40,000,000/- (Ugandan Shillings Forty Million only). The Bid Security must be valid until October 27, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on February 19th, 2025, at 11:20 am.
