Post: Lecturer - Department of Religion and Peace Studies

Reporting To Head of Department
Key, Duties and Responsibilities
i. Teaching, examining and grading students;
ii. Supervision of research for students;
iii. Mentoring of junior staff;
iv. Conducting research and community outreach activities;
v. Writing proposals for attracting funding to the department;
vi. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Qualifications Position 1
i. PhD in Theology
ii. Masters of Theology
iii. An honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Theology or Philosophy
Position 2
i. PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies
ii. Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies
iii. An honour’s Bachelor’s degree of Arts or BA Education majoring in Religious Studies
