Reporting To Senior Library Assistant
Job Purpose Maintain reading materials in the Library in an accessible form to the library usersintain reading materials in the Library in an accessible form to the library users

Key, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Issue Library Materials to users;
2. Shelve reading materials;
3. Keep Library materials clean and tidy;
4. Vet Library users;
5. Provide security of the Library resources and user bags;
6. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: A Certificate in Library and Information Science

Skills/Competences
i. Must be computer literate
ii. Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
iii. Should be a person of high integrity
Tenure of Appointment 4-year Contract
Age Limit APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION
