JOB DETAILS:
A Kampala based Coffee Exporter seeks an experienced Logistics Officer to join their team based in Kampala.
The successful applicant will report to both the Regional Manager and the Logistics Manager based in Europe..

Key Responsibilities
• Act upon instructions to load goods from the Exporter's own stocks to port of shipment.
• Act upon instructions to load goods from Third Party Exporters and Third Party Warehouse Operators to port of shipment.
• Obtain and process all necessary documentation for the export of said goods.
• Liaise with Transport Companies in order to secure equipment for transportation.
• Liaise with Shipping Company Representatives to ensure sufficient supply of necessary equipment for transportation.
• Dispatch documentation as instructed.
• Create and maintain proper file

Job Requirements
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar position
• Excellent telephone handling skills
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Excellent communication Skills
• Mature and able to work to deadlines and under pressure
• High standards of professionalism
• Team player
