JOB DETAILS:
Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Africa (HRNS UG) is part of the Germany based foundation "Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung" (HRNS); a not-for-profit organization established in 2005. With the objective of promoting sustainable development, HRNS implements hands-on projects to improve the working and living conditions of small-scale coffee farmers. Its activities concentrate on the economic and social development of producer communities by enhancing their competitiveness, forming, and strengthening farmer organizations, creating better market linkages, and promoting access to important support services, while at the same time promoting sustainable coffee farming and long-term use of natural resources.
HRNS wishes to recruit staff for the following positions for an upcoming project in Rakai and Kyotera Districts.
4. M&E Officer
a) Job purpose: Manage the implementation of MEL system in the project area, ensure data quality and safeguard proper data management.
b) Key qualification
• A university degree in statistics, economics, Agricultural Science or other related fields.
• Post graduate qualification in M&E.
c) Experience and skills required
• At least 5 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation of agricultural related interventions
• Strong knowledge and experience in data collection, entry and analysis using modern applications.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft
• Excel and CommCare will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Information Systems.
• Strong report writing skills.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
