JOB DETAILS:
Position: MIS Officer
Reports to: Financial Planning and Analytics Manager
Department: Finance
Job Summary: Design and manage the information systems, as well as analyse and track data needed to implement the Bank’s strategy and facilitate efficient business operations and effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize the available information systems to generate data required to provide information support to management that drives decision-making to implement the bank’s strategy and facilitate efficient business operations.
• Generate comprehensive and well-analyzed reports on the bank’s business operations across business functions and departments as requested by management.
• Support business managers in preparation of business cases, in particular being responsible for financial modelling and analysis contained therein.
• Understand specific business requirements and design/develop solutions to implement the desired changes.
• Design and implement branch scorecards, customer net promoter scores, and relationship managers’ performance scorecards in order to drive a performance culture within the Bank.
• Automate all MIS-related & regulatory reports in a format agreed to with Management.
• Cooperate and communicate with staff across departments to explain and assist in the integration of information management to day-to-day business performance metrics.
• Ensure that all MIS processes are prepared and disseminated with functions/business according to agreed service level agreements.
• Develop, implement and maintain appropriate systems and procedures for the collection, maintenance, and integrity of business data in the bank.
• Play a key role in the rollout of new Banking software to ensure that all MIS needs are addressed by the business.
Education.
• A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or other relevant fields from a reputable University.
Experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience preferably in Finance
• Proficient with Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL MySQL)

• Viable and sound financial knowledge
• Data manipulation competence
• Attention to detail
