JOB DETAILS:
The Machine operator keeps the factory and production lines running smoothly. He operates various machinery, ensuring efficient and safe production. This involves monitoring performance, making adjustments, and following safety protocols.
Reports to: Production Team Leader-Beverage
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for starting up and stopping of equipment.
• Assists with the production line in factories.
• Cleans machines and keeps it clean all the time.
• Responsible for loading caps in the filler machine.
• Lubricates blower and filler as per daily schedule.
• Checks to ensure bottles in the blower are as per standards.
• Checks to ensure bottles from filler are filled as per standards.
• Checks to ensure bottles are caped as per standards.
• Checks to ensure product brix and gas are as per standards.
• Control material waste and record use of RM & PM
• Conduct weekly care with the maintenance team.
• Record all machine data in the machine report.
• Do changeover of machine if required.
• Reads and interprets gauges.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of a diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
Key Requirements:
• Familiar with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
