Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to act as the owner's representative, ensuring that the lessee of our prestigious hotel property adheres to all maintenance and care standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity, functionality, and overall aesthetic appeal of the property.

Key Responsibilities:
• Property Oversight Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to assess the condition of the physical structure, including all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and exterior/interior spaces.
• Maintenance Supervision: Oversee the hotel's maintenance activities performed by the lessee. Ensure that all maintenance tasks are executed in line with the highest industry standards and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of repairs, renovations, and maintenance activities. Ensure that all work is performed to the satisfaction of the property owner and is in line with the lease agreements.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on the property's condition, maintenance activities, and any issues identified. Provide recommendations for improvements or repairs and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Liaison Role: Act as the main point of contact between the property owner and the lessee. Address and resolve any issues related to the property's maintenance and upkeep.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the lessee adheres to all contractual obligations regarding property maintenance and care as outlined in the lease agreement.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergencies or urgent issues related to the property's maintenance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the hos- pitality industry.
• Strong understanding of building systems including electrical, plumb- ing, HVAC, and structural aspects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and conduct thorough property inspections.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and building codes.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on behalf of the property owner.
