Global Surgical Initiatives ( GSI ) Inc is a not for 0 Computer skills ’ profit NGO incorporated in Uganda in May 2Ol8 in collaboration with Mt Sinai Hospital of New York, USA. The NGO is located in Kyabiirwa, Jinja District and was started to offer charitable surgical services to the Ugandan community. On completion of construction works of the state-of-the-art surgical facility, Management now seeks to recruit the following:
Post: Maintenance Manager.

Overall duties include to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. They will be tasked with having a solid understanding of -plumbing and electrical systems as well as other operational systems. They will be well- versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative ‘tasks such as supervising, reporting, budgeting etc.

  Qualification and skills
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
• Experience as maintenance manager or other maintenance role
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, electrical Systems etc.
• Working knowledge of facilities’ machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity facilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills
