Title: Manager- Emergency Preparedness and Response
Grade: UR 4
Reports: Director Disaster Risk Management
Location: URCS Headquarters
Duration: Two Years Renewable

Job Purpose:
The role of the Manager- Emergency Preparedness and Response will be to energise, develop and manage emergency preparedness and response programmes while ensuring high quality implementation, building and maintaining sound relationships with key stakeholders and Red Cross Action Teams. The post-holder works with partners and Uganda Red Cross branches to ensure emergency preparedness and response is coordinated effectively in line with Uganda Red Cross 2017- 2020 strategy and humanitarian policies.
