JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
• Reporting to the Group Director, the International Removals Manager is the cornerstone of the services provided to our customers, providing assurance of the quality of the services offered. This is a new business unit with the organization and will require a diverse skill set and enthusiastic business development activity as assurance of meeting and surpassing business expectations is a must. You will be initially working remotely, setting up the business unit from the start, initially for our Sierra Leone office and potentially expanding to other offices in Africa.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Obtain leads and pursue new sales prospects,
• Setting up from start all aspects of the International Removals & relocation business unit
• Ensure that human resources are effectively managed and utilized
• Prepare, manage, and report on the business unit budget, expenditure and cashflow
• Management of moving and relocations,
• Manage all aspects of operations, packing and related activities
• Oversee the administrative management of the business unit (staff management, payroll, accounting, debt collection),
• Sales management (managing the sales teams, ensure increase in turnover)
• Establish & implementation of a sales strategy and objectives to be achieved, analysis and resolution
• Ensure that the services provided are to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in International Removals and Relocations, sales/operations/logistics/ preferably in the International Mobility industry.
• Fluency in English is essential, while fluency in French will be an added advantage.
• An internationally recognised qualification in Transport and/or Logistics would be an advantage, but not strictly required.
• Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
• Information technology skills
