Muteesa I Royal University (MRC) is a private University that was accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (UNCHE) in 2007. its Main Campus is situated in Kirumba Masaka, with other campuses in Mubende and Mengo Kakeeka. The mission of the MRU is to provide an effective and efficient setting for the development of intellectually dynamic individuals, principled and resource l professionals and practitioners. MRU is seeking to recruit highly motivated, innovative and committed candidates to fill the positions highlighted below:

Manager Quality Assurance
Reports to: Vice Chancellor
Role definition: To develop and review departmental quality assurance work plans procedures and processes for operations in the department in line with MRU policies and procedures.

Key Result AreaslResponsibillties

Develop the departments strategy. strategic coals and long term. annual and operational work plans
initiate and implement strategies for implementing quality standards demanded to enable chartering of MRU in line with ire university mission (\IC)
Develop quality assuarne guide of the University and monitor compliance with the guide and standard in all department
adversely service provision in fine with University polities.
Develop and prepare the departmental budget to guide the implementation of Quality assurance functions it line with the NCHE standards.
Develop and implement a performance management plan for the department activities and undertake corrective actions to address poor or under performance.
Prepare quality assurance documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends including failed processes in line with MRU policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Be a Senior lecturer with an earned PhD from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 5 years‘ work experience in a related field, 2 years of which are at managerial level
  
• Leadership and management skills
  
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills mainly in Microsoft Office packages
• Be an accomplished scholar with proven track record in formulating and managing ademic programmes and supervising and mentoring
• Masters and PhD Students.
• Should have proven track record of research and published widely in peer reviewed journals, monographs and books.
