Our Operation is growing rapidly in UK, USA and we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Officer in Uganda, specifically Kampala

A successful Marketing Officer is responsible for the implementation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, He/ She will work closely with the Sales Assistants and Manager to promote/ create awareness, generate leads and create upselling opportunities.

The goal is to ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business
Our clients are Corporate Companies, Authorities, start-ups etc. As a company, we are committed to aiding them in achieving their financial goals through our Model.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.

Responsibilities
• Strengthen our relationship with clients and company partnerships
• Plan and execute campaigns and events
• Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events
• Create online and offline marketing content
• Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales
• Represent Smart Green Invest in the Operation and implement the Company’s marketing strategy.
• The person we are looking for will be skilled and comfortable in talking to Clients about marketing strategies and will ultimately help in onboarding customers into our CRM (Client Relationship Management) software.
• Perform background research in order to better understand the market and what we can do to improve upon our overall results to establish the best way to reach target groups.
• Develop positive relationships with existing clients for repeat business
• Generate new customer leads and conducting detailed and comprehensive product presentation
• Handling customer feedback and queries by answering questions from potential clients expressing interest in financing products.
• Following up on potential leads and converting the lead to a customer by communicating about how our services can help them meet those outcomes/opportunities faster
• Provide daily reports and feedback on activities to key stakeholders, including local market opportunities, competitor activities and customer intelligence to Program Manager.
• Organize a calendar of marketing events such as workshops, promotions, roadshows etc.
• Participate and assist on the Product & service marketing, promotional campaigns, Roadshows and other marketing campaign events.
• Attend events for product launches and brand promotions
• Implementation of marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights on site at events
• Discovery of strategic business opportunities through cross functional collaboration with sales
• Marketing opportunity for revenue.
• Responsible for branding, advertising, company events, and promotional collateral.
• Work with management on projects dealing with media relations, business communications, success stories
• Preform any other duties assigned to you from your Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising
• 2-5 years’ experience
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Keen on following processes and procedures
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in digital Marketing, computer skills
• Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to market and sell a product with wide Knowledge on Environmental and climate matters is added advantage
