Job Profile 1. Create and implement Marketing plan/campaigns within budget, in conjunction with overall business strategy.
2. Analyse market trends to estimate service demands and target the right consumer Marketing campaigns can be delivered through (but not limited) branding, website, print communication, advertising and effective internal communication.
3. Evaluate success of marketing campaigns by reviewing the sales reports and make modifications as required.

9. Direct and manage Social Media marketing to provide support and guidance.

Purpose of the Position: To ensure that we achieve and exceed our overall decoder sales targets for rolling out and managing an effective sales and distribution network through sales agency and ESP channels across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Activities: 1. Use of Brandworx sales tool to manage the sales team.
2. Daily review of sales team activities.
3. Monitor the Sales of Retailers, and Installers & Agents.
4. Address sales target gaps.
5. Source leads for the sales teams.
6. Provide daily sales reports
7. Ensure all new subscribers sign up a tv package application form.
8. Well managed sales campaigns.
Weekly Activities: 1. Present sales activity report and plans for the previous and subsequent week.
2. Attend in-depth sales review meetings.
3. Effective monitoring of the Television dealer network.
4. Target and sign up corporate entities.
5. Hold review meetings with the sales team in the territory.
6. Ensure that all sales points have sufficient POS material by working closely with the marketing section.
7. Creating adequate sales capacity and optimization of sales resources.
Monthly Activities: 1. Monitor and align sales activity to overall company business plan.
2. Achieve sales targets for product ranges namely GOtv, Single view DStv HD Zappa and Explora PVR decoder units.
3. Exceed new decoder targets and targeted conversions.
4. Address sales performance for the dealers & the sales team.
5. Ensure smooth process of Customer acquisition.
6. Maintain optimal dealer network across the territory.

8. Draw up monthly plan for decoder sales acquisition.
9. Timely generate and submit monthly sales activity reports.
10. Provide market intelligence reports.
11. Study sales market trends and make appropriate recommendations for improving our overall sales approach.

4. Physical visits/travel to trading points and towns to assess the performance of our sales channels and the markets.
