Senior Manager, Custodial Services job at Equity Bank
JOB DETAILS: JOB REF: COM/EQBUL 01/2023/1
Reports to: Head of Business
Job Purpose To develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the custodial services operational & sales strategy across the Bank, enhance business growth, drive initiatives that enhance client relations and ensure operational efficiency and service delivery in line with Equity Bank's business growth strategy..
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration/ Commerce or related field from an accredited institution.
2. Certification in Securities and investment services such as CISI or a Securities Industry Certification from Capital Markets & Securities Authority (CMSA) is required.
3. At least 8 years progressive experience in the financial markets industry with exposure in Custodial & Investment Services.
4. Experience in sales & marketing within custodial services and fund management transaction settlement is mandatory.
5. Sound knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements of corporate governance, business and banking operations.
6. Good knowledge of money markets, equity trading, margin trading and other capital market instruments.

Reports to: Head of Business
Job Purpose To grow the Bank's Trade Finance segment business and develop strategies for client retention, growth of New to Bank Trade customers, development of products and services in the trade finance portfolio and ensure portfolio quality in line with the set targets and the Bank policies.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1. A Bachelor's degree in business related field from an accredited institution.
2. MBA or Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage. At least 8 years in a relationship management role, preferably in banking/financial institutions or commercial environment with at least 4 years in Trade Finance.
3. Must possess good knowledge of product implementation and an understanding of operational risk management.
4. Thorough knowledge of product economics & pricing.
5. General understanding of credit functions & excellent operational risk analysis skills.

Reports to: Head of Treasury
Job Purpose To provide treasury solutions to the bank's corporate and SME clients, to meet their desired Foreign Exchange and investment requirements with the aim of increasing bank's share of wallet and achieving the bank's overall strategic financial objectives.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1. A Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business-related field from an accredited institution.
2. ACI Dealing Certificate is a must.
3. At least 6 years of progressive experience in treasury sales. Knowledge of foreign exchange markets and trends of major currencies.
4. Thorough understanding of the local and international financial services industry.
5. Financial analysis Skills: Ability to analyze market information and provide structured solutions.
6. Analytical business and investment appraisal Skills: Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support business decision making.
