[BR-BRE] Fuel Station Manager job at Global Elite Group Responsibilities • Overseeing fuel and store operations at the fuel station;
• Meeting customers’ needs, helping customers pump fuel in their cars as needed and maintaining the facility;
• Managing sales at the fuel station and making sure employees are fully meeting sales quotas;
• Managing and cross-checking inventory with supplier and the sales.
• Supervising employees, training new workers and creating work schedules;
• Determine staffing requirements for the station;
• Maintaining positive relationships with local vendors, distributors and authorities;
• Carry out marketing activities to capitalize on consumer trends, determine expected sales volume for products and set competitive prices with a goal to maximize revenue for the station;
• Create and manage customer loyalty and rewards programs;
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by strictly following safety procedures, policies and protocols.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, petroleum, oil and gas or any other related field;
• Having certifications in Healthy and Safety Environment (HSE), Petroleum Economics or other field is an added advantage;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing a fuel station while working with one of the leading fuel companies in Uganda;
• Knowledge and skills in technology, machinery, fuel pumps and inventory systems used at fuel stations is a must;
• Strong leadership, communication, problem solving and customer relation skill sets are a must.
