Senior Procurement Officer job at PEAS Job Summary The senior procurement officer is to work as part of the logistics team and serve as focal point for the E delivery of efficient cost-effective and Equality procurement services across the network in the management of all responsibilities related to e procurement, purchasing and E customs clearing, notably developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to achieve the best service, ensure PEAS procurement is ethical, transparent and achieves the greatest value for money, emphasizing timely processing of orders and payment of suppliers.
Experience and Qualification: • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement & Logistics
• CIPS - Level 2
• Computer Skills
• A minimum of Five Years' experience in procurement and logistics at Senior level
• Previous experience leading procurement and logistics for a large enterprise (group) with a centralized management system
• Good knowledge of procurement and logistics best practice embedding value for money approaches to ensure an effective procurement chain in management of the mandate of the department.
• Experience managing large relationships in local market context
• Experience on successful disposal of assets and inventory
Personal attributes and Skills: • Demonstrate relevant abilities in supervision, team building, problem solving and counselling
• Ability to maintain databases to provide information to decision making processes
• Demonstrate understanding for driving the right efficiencies and effectiveness in processes while maximizing value for money

Job Summary As an organizational Driver, you will be working with the Procurement and Logistics team to provide Logistical support and expertise to staff. This is a key role in overseeing and driving authorized passengers, transport goods and services (information) and check the mechanical condition of the PEAS Uganda vehicle regularly.
Experience & Qualifications Essential Advanced Level Certificate in Education as Preferred.
3 years of experience in a similar role for a large dynamic and fast growing organization specific job-related experience with safe driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair.
