Key duties/responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategies to reduce and manage default rate and efficient management of the loan portfolio
2. Coaching on negotiation skills and best options available in collecting from hardcore clients.
3. Keep litigation cases low and ensure court matters are settled amicably and avoid unnecessary wastage.
4. Effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
5. Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring performances and motivating loan officers to improve their performance.
6. Instilling discipline among Loan officers in regards to collections.
7. Ensure and maintain a good culture within the officers and continuously encourage cohesiveness.
8. Implement strategies that increase collection efficiency.
9. Ensure that the SME officers are proficient with standard operating procedures and 100% implementation of the Delinquency Escalation Process.
10. Create an enabling relationship with the other departments and ensure all stakeholders understand our processes.
11. Work closely with the customer service department and ensure implementation of strategies that enables us satisfy our customers.
12. Train field officers on the importance of valuing our customers and ensure SME team has customer centered culture
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
2. At least two (2) years’ experience in a related role in a Financial Institution.
3. Computer Knowledge.
4. Excellent Numerical and Analytical Skills

Job details: The overall job purpose: Effective & efficient communication with customers to achieve customer satisfaction, timely loan repayments and repeat business.
Key duties/responsibilities: 1. Develop and oversee relationships with clients to ensure top level service is provided to clients.
2. Perform as key contact point for portfolio of clients dealing with routine matters throughout range of services and products.
3. Consistent and frequent communication with clients providing complete, concise account information and guidance.
4. Addressing customer concerns and complaints.
5. Design and implement techniques for educating old and new customers on the benefits of existing and new products or services.
6. Ensure assigned portfolio is performing as per company’s set targets.
7. Ensure retention of customers with at least 40% of repeat business from assigned portfolio.
8. Ensure collections performance target of 90% and above for your portfolio.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: 1. Degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field.
2. Knowledgeable about Asset Finance.
3. Computer knowledge.
4. Customer Care Experience.
5. Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
6. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
