Description: Book Keeping in Accounting Software on daily basis (such as Purchase, Purchase journal, Journal, Receipt & Payments, credit/Debit Note) Updation of Bank transactions and reconciliation on daily basis.
Ensuring Monthly Bank Reconciliation and Keeping and Maintaining of such record Customer Reconciliation & Vendor Reconciliation in co-ordination with Manager Updation of ledgers and reconciliation of the same Reviewing & Checking of Purchases entries as per SOP.
Preparation of Overdue receivable report and circulating the same with Sales Team Weekly preparation of Overdue payable report Assisting with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies, if any Preparing MIS and business performance report, cash flow statement, Yearly Budget and comparison of actual vs budget Perform General Ledger scrutiny and submitting monthly stock statement Well versed with process of bill checking of the contractor and supplier as per company policy.
Assist in Balance Sheet finalization.
JOB DETAILS: Job Details For one of our Client-side, we are hiring the Factory General Manager who will oversee all aspects of operations at the milling factory, including milling, quality control, cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and personnel management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the milling factory operates efficiently and safely.
Location - Uganda
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with the teams in production and quality control to improve existing as well as develop and implement operational strategies and plans that maximize productivity and efficiency.
2. Manage all aspects of production operations, including milling, quality control, packaging, and dispatch
3. Develop and maintain effective maintenance and safety programs to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations
4. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as necessary
5. Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practices to ensure the milling factory remains competitive and profitable.
REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's degree in milling, engineering, business, or a related field
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a top management role
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
4. Strong analytical and organizational skills
5. Familiarity with safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements for milling operations
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed.
