Summary
The health club is located at Freedom City mall, provides a main workout area with equipment like barbells and exercise machines. It also has an area dedicated to cardiovascular training equipment like rowing machines, stationary bikes, elliptical trainers and treadmills and a workout studio. It is open seven days a week. The health club manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a health club.
This role involves a set of five general functions: planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling. The manager handles the daily operations of the health club, such as hiring, training, and scheduling staff members, planning fitness programming, checking exercise equipment, ensuring satisfaction and retention of patrons as well as getting new members/patrons, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the club.
Group exercise classes are regularly offered, and there are personal trainers who provide fitness training and ensure proper use of the equipment to ensure safety of users and prevention of damage to the equipment. Spa facilities like a swimming pool and a steam bath and sauna are available.
Duties of the health club manager include managing staff members, maintaining equipment and providing customer service. Health club managers may also have the responsibility of attracting and retaining customers.
Applicants are required to possess a combination of experience and a background in health club business management to be able to hire appropriate staff as well as manage the business to make it profitable.

Responsibilities /Key
Deliverables

1. Inspect the workout areas and amenities to make sure they are sanitary and clean.
2. Keep the equipment in good working order.
3. Sign up new members and encourage member retention, the health club manager will generally interact with customers and encourage them to meet their fitness goals.
4. Create promotions and implement marketing campaigns.
5. Supervise team members and provide them with the training and direction they need to meet company and personal expectations.
6. Provide clients with superior services, products and guidance.
7. Handle associate grievances, complaints and questions in a prompt manner.
8. Managing staff and any free-lance service providers in the health club.
9. Appraising staff as necessary to ensure performance.


JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Discipline team members as needed, including issuing verbal warnings and termination. Make recommendations for discipline and/or termination to other managing members of your staff as appropriate.
2. Direct, supervise and assist with event marketing, preparation and cleanup.
3. Schedule events regularly to drive new memberships and build community awareness.
4. Build rapport and loyalty with customers and store managers by facilitating frequent communication and providing opportunities for feedback.
5. Ensure that club facility and equipment are always kept clean, attractive, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
6. Ensure safety of club patrons.
7. Ensuring that appropriate signage is displayed within the health club.
8. Update guidelines for use of the health club, as and when necessary.
9. Ensuring that health club users follow health club guidelines and rules.
10. Any other duties and responsibilities which shall drive business and profitability together with safety.


JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary
This person shall be the manager of Freedom City mall, interacting with various mall users and stakeholders on a daily basis e.g., tenants, mall visitors, etc. Competencies in management and experience in property management are necessary. The Property Manager is fully accountable for all day-to-day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property. Good communication skills are important in this role as it involves a lot of interaction with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Financial:

1. Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals, operate asset in owners’ best interest.
2. Prepare annual budgets and income projections in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner.
4. Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with National and Company guidelines.
5. Provide constant vendor/contractor communications concerning scheduling, billing, vendor relations and certificates of insurance.
6. Ensure that accounts payable invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment, handle petty cash and all funds.

Leasing:
1. Ensure property is rented to fullest capacity.
2. Meeting with prospective tenants.
3. Utilize marketing strategies to secure prospective tenants.
4. Confirm that leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closing.
5. Confirm that leasing staff gather information about market competition in the area and file.
6. Continually monitor and analyze traffic logs, conversion ratios, budget guidelines, renewal information, marketing data, etc., to be able to give up-to-date and proper information when requested by others.
7. Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.

Administrative:
1. Prepare and/or implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient workflow.
2. Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Ensure current tenant files are properly maintained.
2. Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis.
3. Lead emergency team for Property. Ensure proper response and handling of all Property emergencies with staff, tenants, other stakeholders etc. to minimize liabilities (i.e., criminal activity on Property, employee/Tenant injuries, fires, floods, freezes, etc.).
4. Meet with regulators, when necessary, e.g., local government reps on trading licenses and inspections, etc.

Tenant Retention:
1. Deal with Tenant concerns and requests on timely basis to ensure Tenant satisfaction with management.
2. Develop and/or implement Tenant retention programs.
3. Consistently implement policies of the Property.

Personnel Management:
1. Ensure efficiency of staff and service providers.
2. Plan service provider schedules and assignments.
3. Provide support to staff to encourage teamwork and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment.

Maintenance:
1. Maintain Property appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular Property inspections and tours.
2. Assure quality and quantity of market ready spaces.
3. Ensure that models and market ready apartments are walked regularly and communicate any service-related needs to maintenance.
4. Ensure that all service requests are recorded and communicated appropriately to maintenance.

Safety:
1. Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local and national safety rules.
2. Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
