In order to achieve the above objectives, Hima Cement seeks to recruit a motivated and competent
staff as indicated below;

Job Summary;
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that all financial assertions and risks associated with
the management of key inventory/materials at the Kasese Plant are adequately addressed.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned in line with the evolution of the business needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitoring stock levels to ensure optimum working capital.
• Updating production reports and their reconciliation with the accounting system (SAP).
• Active participation in key plant and company-wide meetings.
• Reconciliation of operational information, relevant external systems and SAP.
• Coordinating/participating in monthly and ad hoc stock counts.
• Compliance to Health, Safety and Environment objectives, standards and regulations.
• Any other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications skills and attributes.
Educational Requirements
• First class or Second Class Bachelors Business -related Degree i.e. BBA/BCOM.
• ACCA/CPA(U) will be of added advantage
• 2 years’ experience in busy commercial environment/FMCG involving import/export will
• be of added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the accounting regulatory framework and standards
• Good computer knowledge, especially in an ERP environment and reporting tools (Good
• knowledge in the FI module of SAP. Good knowledge of common spreadsheet
• applications desirable)

• Flexibility to work anywhere within Uganda is added advantage
