JOB DETAILS:
The role is site based in an onshore oilfield construction site within Uganda.

Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree or above Major in Mechanical, Material, Chemical engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum chemical, Engineering mechanics or the related.
• At least NDT Level II experience in MT, PT, UT & RT
• At least 8 years of technical experience
• At least 5 years’ mechanical construction/fabrication
• Experience in lifting inspections will be an added advantage
• Good at using micro-office software and project tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Good knowledge of international code, standard and regulation, such as ASME, API, etc. used in Oil and Gas construction.
• Experience in equipment installation
• Conversant with OSH Act 2006 in relation to Lifting equipment and pressure vessels inspection.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Basic computer skills.

Priority will be given to Ugandans and non-Ugandans with valid work permits.
