We are hiring;
Positions: Mobile applications software developer
Vacancies: 1
Reporting to: The Head of Software Development
Duty station: Kampala office

Roles:
1. Developing software programs for Stre@mline related projects
2. Reviewing current systems for bugs and maintenance fixes
3. Working closely with analysts, designers and staff to develop good quality software
4. Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
5. Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
6. Preparing of training manuals for Stre@mline users
7. Maintaining the Stre@mline products once they are up and running
8. Documenting and publishing issues met on the company’s blog and on international platforms
9. Mentoring and nurturing more software developers
10. Engaging in software development workshops and workshops for software development skills enhancement

Requirements:
1. Proven experience in mobile app development; Android, IOS
2. 3+ years of demonstrable experience
3. Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
4. Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
5. Familiarity with OOP design principles
6. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
7. Proficiency with database management systems: SQL, MySQL.
8. Proficiency with code control using Git, Github, Gitlab, etc.
9. Knowledge of agile software development
10. Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
11. Ability to perform in a team environment
12. Strong oral and written communication skills
13. Ability to interpret and follow technical plans

Onboarding:
1. You will undergo 1 month of training to get accustomed to our coding practices
2. You will then be certified upon completing the necessary tests
3. Key is to achieve set targets on time.
