JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Lead District data utilization to guide program critical activities, support the computer system for storage, processing and data management purposes as per MUCOBADI stipulated policies and procedures and provide relevant information on the project’s progress to district teams and other stakeholders.
Key duties, responsibilities and deliverables:
• Manage and oversee the implementation of M&E system at District Level
• Train and mentor USAID/ICARE community structures at a given district on data collection tools, analysis, storage; and use of data for informed decision-making
• Receive field tools from Field Assistants, Business incubation Assistants and program specialists, prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry.
• Carryout data Verification and give feedback to Field Assistants, Business incubation Assistants and program specialists for immediate actions
• Supervise project volunteers; identifying areas of support and mentorship
• Foster good relationships and team spirit with program and operations staff in the field
• Prepare, compile and sort data collection forms for data entry on a monthly basis
• Check for completeness and reliability of data submitted before entry on the monthly basis
• Enter data into the various databases in a timely manner to enable data analysis and reporting
• File entered forms in designated locations/files and maintain M&E records and reports
• Conduct preliminary data analysis to support programing
• Ensure availability and taking stock of data collection tools
• Ensure timely distribution and collection of data collection tools from the field structures
• Participate in the preparation of District specific monthly and quarterly reports through availing output results for the reporting periods as needed.
• Participate in District and activity performance review/sharing and feedback meetings
• Participate in development and/or administering of USAID/ICARE M&E tools across all result areas
• Maintain M&E office equipment and stationery supplies.
• Support cluster manager in preparing and organizing for reviews Data Quality checks and service quality checks at household and group intervention level
Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in Quantitative Economics, Information Technology, Statistics or any other related field
• At least 2-years’ experience analyzing the implementation of USAID project
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with teams and achieve results through others
• Strong organizational skills Computer literate with hands on MS Office programs, especially in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action so as not to delay processes
• Should have excellent interpersonal skills
