JOB DETAILS:
The Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET) is a National member based Non-Government organization that was established in 2004 to provide strategic linkages and a collaborative platform for legal aid service providers (LASPs) in Uganda and maintain a common front to relevantly interface with Justice Law & Order (LOS) on access to Justice and Rule of Law. The Network currently has 55 members across 80 districts in the country in addition to 7 honorary members of good standing who include Judges, founding members and strategic partners. The Network targets three critical aspects of coordination namely: A collective role of bringing together different LAŞPs in solidarity for strategizing. sharing lessons and experiences while minimizing duplication; a capacitating role of ensuring improved quality standards among LASPs but also linking International/ Regional development on Legal aid to national interventions; a supportive role of documenting and amplifying voice on key issues regarding access to justice and legal aid at Regional and National level. LASPNET wishes to recruit qualified persons in the following positions at its Secretariat: .

Job Responsibilities:
• Takes charge of maintaining and developing existing membership, and partnerships through communication and information sharing whilst also identifying new organizations and collaborative partnerships.
• S/he will take lead in management of stakeholders, convening and coordination of relevant meetings and conferences; implementation of collaborative projects with membership and partners, advising and supporting capacity development of membership as well as liaising with partners and members to develop, deliver and evaluate network' needs

Job Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field which includes social sciences, sociology, political science, social work, mass communication.
• A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• Working Experience and knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with networks and partnership development.
• Knowledge of designing and disseminating of Programme level and project level documents dedicated to membership, partnership & networks implementation, or
• related tools
• Strong presentation, writing, editing and negotiation skills, including the ability to
• elaborate partnership projects and grant proposals.
• Capacity to effectively interact with a multiplicity of stakeholders including senior management.
• Researching, preparing fact-checking, editing, and producing professional media and communications materials for various audiences and ensuring their timely dissemination on different platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with a good command of English both written and oral.
• Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in key micro soft packages
