JOB DETAILS:
Citizens Medical is a healthcare service provider specializing in diagnostics and management of non-communicable diseases. Our services are specialized in cardiology, gastroenterology, physiotherapy and nutrition. We are recruiting a vibrant candidate to establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients.
Duty station: Plot 14B, Tuffnel Drive off Kira rd., Kamwokya, Kampala
Working hours: 15 days a month .

Key Specific deliverables:
• Monitor patient’s conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Maintain and update patient records
• Follow up on patient appointments
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Operate and monitor performance of assigned medical equipment
• Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
• Educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Education, Training and Experience
• Diploma in Nursing
• At least 1 year working experience preferably in similar role is an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Hands on experience with computer office tools
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Valid nursing license
• Ability to operate or learn use of specialized medical equipment
