JOB DETAILS:

Group Unit Roswell Women and Children’s Hospital
Duty Station The medical Hub

Job purpose;
To coordinate the patient flow process at the Outpatient department so as to create a clear good flowless patient experience as they receive quality health care at the facility.

Key Performance Indicators;
1. Reduced patient waiting time to 30 minutes for out patients.
2. Clear patient floor plan while at the hospital.
3. Daily day and night reports on patient in flows.

Job duties
1. Ensure patient care facilitation.
2. To take rounds daily of Hospital, Morning & Evening, inform the report to the Medical Director as per need.
3. Guide patients at the Outpatient department and provide clearance to them on their next station after each treatment point.
4. Personally meet out-patients on a daily basis and direct them for their queries and issues.
5. Coordinate patients through the triage, doctors’ offices, ultrasound, phlebotomy, laboratory and cashier and manage their waiting time.
6. To gather day to day feedback on improvement of customer experience and discuss with and Medical Director and find out the immediate solutions with no future repetitions.
7. Ensure availability of all medical staff at all stations and manage patient waiting time in case of any delays at these stations. That is; phlebotomy, ultrasound, triage and immunization and pharmacy.
8. Generating the Monthly feedback reports of all collected feedback from doctors and patients.
9. Meeting the Medical officers and specialists regularly during their rounds and finding the feedback from them as well.
10. Create a good rapport with all the medical team to have their concerns and suggestions listened to & solve as soon as possible.
11. Assist the Medical Director and Nurse in-charge as & when required.
12. Coordinates, through organizational leaders, educational activities regarding standards, systems and other quality improvement methodologies.
13. Manage the patient satisfaction survey, medical officers & specialists satisfaction survey and track recommendations for corrections of identified deficiencies.
14. Facilitating Medical Health check-ups.
15. To show Hospital to Guests.
16. Direct doctors’ queries to concern departments that is the Nurse-in-charge i.e., Administration, Human Resource and Finance.

Qualifications
1. Minimum of a Certificate of Nursing.
2. Over 2 years of working experience hospital floor manager.
3. Compassionate and with good customer care experience.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to work under pressure.
6. Good organizational and time management skills.
7. Great communication skills.
