Role Summary The Hole Cleaning Engineer is a key Representative at the Well-Site but also at the Client Office when he judges necessary to visit the Client as drilling operations have ended. The HC Engineer is one of the focal point between the unit deliverables and the client needs regarding his function (hole cleaning). The HC Engineer's scope of work requires in depth involvement from the predrill stage, but also the pre-visit (installation feasibility, scope of work), the commissioning of adapted tools and procedures to set on site, and through the well site operations phase. He is due to continue his job for assistance in post well analysis, as part of his Post-Drilling Report will be included in the client's "lessons learnt". The HC Engineer is due to visit the client any time to present results and observations, but also are nose or suggest changes in drilling client's "lessons learnt". The HC Engineer is due to visit the client any time to present results and observations, but also propose or suggest changes in drilling procedures to optimize performances and minimize cost.
Relationships The HC Engineer is the permanent link between the Mud Logging Crew and the
Client at the well site. As his job encloses the whole Mud Logging Service, he is also in charge of the QA/QC of measurement chain and reports. He also stream information to the GEC for ultimate deliverables validation.
The HC Engineer is normally installed in the Service Companies Office at well site (preferably not in the Mud Logging unit). Together with the Company Man, the Rig Engineer and the Mud Engineer, he collaborates to real-time and post analysis for adapting drilling procedures. By assisting to the morning meetings on the rig site, he delivers daily results and observations on behaviour concerning hole cleaning in general, but also on the unit status (if no Units Manager is present on site).
The HC Engineer also functionally reports to his direct Operations Manager. Additionally the Data Engineers also have to exchange and share all necessary information (unit and equipment status, scheduled operations etc...) with the HC Engineer,
Responsibilities and Principal Duties Technical • Maintaining the client relationship, satisfaction and confidence. The target is no formal client complaints.
• Being pro-active by providing any sensible observation which may lead by experience to an unsafe situation.
• Project preparation: link between Operations Manager, Unit Manager and Client Service Schedule preparation; definition of focus points arid deliverables with the client, propose standard reporting and log templates, including ways of delivery Job preparation coordination together with the Drilling Engineer. • Reports (Hole Cleaning Template (complete and tight follow-up of Cuttings Balance, CLEAR board, daily / phase tendencies (cuttings recovery cross-linked with T&D evolution, ECD monitoring and pills follow-up)) and logs delivery in town with emphasis on trend evolutions and noticeable events.
• Filter information and dispatch to experts after having debated with the Client.
• Real Time QAQC monitoring when required.
• Report QAQC. Collecting modifications request and ensures implementation when feasible and feed-back to GEC. HCM THEMA and related applications exploitation (data processing and analysis. POMOM munication of results to Drilling Engineer.
• Preparation of Torque & Drag models and implementation on site for Real time use.
• Dispatch of drilling procedures into the unit.
• Delivery of phase summary report and event report at the end of each sequence.
• End of Well Report progress (in line with client's requirements).
• Assistance to well site crew, preparation of next operation, identification of relevant applications to run and of report to produce. Link with base for efficient technical support.

• Manage the well database and ensure the quality and integrity of the well data annotating digital logs and records clearly and correctly and ensure confidentiality of any 'tight hole' requirements.

Job Summary The Base Technician is responsible for supervising Service Line support for technical matters and to ensure operational procedures are fully implemented and used by field crews and support staff in their geographic and service line area of responsibility. He/she acts as the level 1 support delivering safe, efficient and reliable equipment preparation, installation, de-installation, certification, repairs, maintenance and logistics as specified by the customer contracts; escalating when necessary technical support issues he/she is unable to deal with locally.
Relationships The Base Technician
Reports directly to a Technical Support and Operations integrity Supervisor, in the absence of which, to a Service Line Operations Supervisor or Manager covering the Base Technician's geographic area of responsibility.
Is directly responsible to manage all Helpers assigned to them and to direct them in their daily planning and oversee their work.
Responsibilities and Principal Duties General

Role Summary The Data Engineer's role is to ensure all Mud logging geological and surface drilling data are accurately measured and recorded at the wellsite. He/She acts as the focal point for drilling services cre 7 and client personnel; advising them of any operational event that has a direct effect on drilling or work-over operations. The Data Engineer monitors, evaluates activities and immediately reports unexpected well behaviour to minimise operational risks and environmental damage. He/She provides data interpretation and quantitative & qualitative real time services using muu logging data.
Relationships
• Data Engineers report to their Operations Manager, collaborating with client representatives and taking direction from them relative to client's operational requirements.
• The Mud Logger reports hierarchically to a Data i Engineer.

• Perform close monitoring of gas levels, lag time, drilling fluids and drilling parameters and report any anticipated or observed anomalies to the appropriate persons for immediate action or for closer surveillance identify and report immediately all drilling hazards like kicks, well ballooning, stuck pipe, lost circulation, shallow water flows, mud losses, drilling breaks, etc.
• Perform optimization diagnostics on mechanical drilling parameters, well hydraulics to improve drilling efficiency and reduce catastrophic failure.
• Cross check theoretical and actual mud returns correspond to expected well behaviour or surface activities.
• Check depth, drilling and logged data against a recorded data.
• Confirm or adjust the formation pore pressure gradient estimates by analysing the Dxc along with other qualitative mud logging parameters like gas, flowline temperature, caving's etc. obtained during drilling. Confirm or adjust estimates of formation fracture gradient from well planning against values obtained during leak-off or well integrity tests.
• Assist well site personnel determine the mud densities required for primary and secondary we control. Ensure primary well control by anticipating pressure imbalances.
• Reporting
• Determine with operations and well site management teams the standard and emergency reporting process and procedures.

Role Summary The Mud Logger's role is to provide the principal geological surveillance service for well site drilling operations. He / She provides the customer with a detailed analysis, interpretation and record of the rock cuttings and oil & gas shows. In the absence of a Data Engineer the Mud Logger is the focal point for communication with other service company employees, drilling contractor crew and the Client; appraising and company employees, drilling contractor crew and the Client; appraising and advising them of any operational event that may affect drilling or work-over operations. He / She monitors drilling activities and unexpected well behaviour to report and minimize operational risks and environmental damage.
Relationships The Mud Logger supervises, if present, the Sample Catcher or Trainee Mud Logger.
The Mud Logger reports to, if present, the Data Engineer and functionally to an Exlog Wellsite Geologist. in the absence of either to the Exlog Operations Manager
