Job title: Manger, Marketing
Reports to: Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications
Job Purpose
To provide support in the development, implementation and monitoring of the bank's, branding, product development and marketing strategies in line with the bank's business goals and objectives.

Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Degree in Marketing. Communications or business related from an accredited institution. Professional qualifications form the Chartered Institute of Marketing such as CIM is required.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience Marketing/Advertising discipline in a Financial services Institution/FMCG /Telecoms or an agency. 3 of which must be at managerial level.
• Proven experience in digital and direct response marketing.
• Creative thinking and a good understanding of market trends.
• Ability to generate new concepts/ideas that impact the bank's business growth.

Job title: Head of Administration
JOB REF: FIN/EQBUL 09/2022/1
Reports to: Head of Finance
Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership for all administration, procurement, and estates management activities by ensuring timely and cost effective acquisition of goods, services and works in accordance with Equity Bank's business objectives.

Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field, from an accredited institution.
• Post Graduate Qualification such as CIPS, ACCA, CPA is required.
• At least 10 years of working experience working in logistics/ administration management or procurement in a commercial environment, 3 of which must be at Senior Management level.

Job title: Procurement Manager
JOB RER: ADMIN/EQBUL 09/2022/2
Reports to: Head of Administration
Job Purpose
To drive the bank's supplier term negotiations by ensuring purchase of goods and services as required by the procurement plan whilst ensuring quality control & compliance with Equity Bank's policies and procedures.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, or related field, from an accredited institution.
• Post graduate qualification by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply is a must.
• At least 8 years of working experience in a purchasing or procurement capacity in a highly competitive Commercial environment, 3 of which must be at managerial level.
• Proven and significant experience in Procurement and contract management, including an ability to review procurement demands & trends, and to develop procurement strategies.
• Good knowledge and understanding of relevant purchasing regulations, laws, and procedures
• Knowledge of the banking products, digital solutions, services, policies, and systems, to enable appreciation of the impact of the role.
• Excellent Understanding of Information Technology policies and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Local IT standards, Laws, Regulations.

Job title: Head of Debt Collections & Recoveries
JOB REF: CRED/EQUBL 09/2022/1
Reports to: Head of Credit
Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership to the Collections & Recoveries team in the effective and efficient management of delinquent & NPL accounts & customers in line with Equity Bank's Debt Management strategy and Credit Policies & Procedures.

Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• A Bachelor's degree in Business related field, from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of working experience in credit or collections with at least 5 years in special assets and bad debt management in a financial institution.
• Good knowledge and understanding of relevant banking and regulations on asset quality/credit legislation.
• Knowledgeable with local legal system/framework, corporate finance, insolvency law and security/collateral issues.
• Proven track record at Senior Management Level with experience of applying sound judgment in credit decisions in all parts of the credit cycle.


Job title: Manager, IT Applications
JOB REF: IT/EQBUL 09/2022/1
Reports to: Head, IT
Job Purpose
To oversee technology services Management and availability, ensure smooth running of the Banking Systems, applications and services, infrastructure and service desk and user support by using effective, contemporary IT practices, policies, and procedures in line with Equity Bank's service level requirements.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related qualification.
• Professional qualifications such as ITIL foundation level certification, MCSA/MCSEJ CCNA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in IT in an organization of similar and complexity, three (3) of which must be at a manager level.
• Knowledge of the banking products, digital solutions, services, policies, and systems, to enable appreciation of the impact of the role.
• Excellent Understanding of Information Technology policies and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Local IT standards, Laws, Regulations.

Job title: Manager, IT Governance & Service Management
JOB REF: IT/EQBUL 09/2022/2
Reports to: Head, IT
Job Purpose
To champion continuous definition and improvement of IT service management processes, IT governance & supporting tools by ensuring smooth IT operations that meet business demands in compliance with ITIL standards and agreed service levels.

Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related qualification. Professional qualifications such as ITIL foundation level certification, MCSA/MCSE/ CCNA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in IT in an organization of similar and complexity, three (3) of which must be at a manager level.
• Sound knowledge of practical implementation & use of ITSM framework, IT infrastructure services, formal IT processes & business processes.
• In depth understanding of service design & transition, major incident management, disaster recovery & continuous service improvement management.
• Experience in IT service delivery/management within the financial sector or banking industry.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with the business & other key stakeholders.


Job title: Manager, IT Projects
JOB REF: IT/EQBUL 09/2022/3
Reports to: Head, IT
Job Purpose
To provide overall strategic leadership in the planning, implementation and integration of cross-functional IT projects as well as ensuring technical oversight & delivery of the different IT projects components within approved budgets and in line with Equity Bank's business requirements.

Desired knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related qualification.
• Professional qualifications such CAPM and/or PMP is required.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in IT Service Delivery, 3 of which must be in Project Cycle Management for Financial Services or an ICT solution Provider.
• Experience in Software development with project-based focus and experience working with IT teams
• Strong follow-up and relationship management skills; ability to organize applicable project timelines and follow up with internal & external stakeholder requirements as needed.
• Ability to develop budgets and formulate new cost-effective strategies and technical approaches on IT project management.
