JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a motivated Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of our company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach who can oversee the day-to-day operations, focusing on optimizing processes, improving production efficiency, and driving overall business performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of production workflows, and supply chain logistics, and the ability to scale operations to meet our growing demand while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

What does the job involve
Production Management:
• Oversee and manage the entire production lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods.
• Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Coordinate closely with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure sufficient material availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards throughout the production process, ensuring all products meet or exceed quality requirements.
• Implement and maintain production metrics and KPIs to track efficiency, output, and on-time delivery.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR departments to ensure that operational activities support broader business objectives.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to provide input on manufacturability, scalability, and production feasibility of new product designs.
• Partner with the finance team to analyze costs, forecast demand, and ensure the smooth flow of operations in line with financial planning.
Budget & Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage the operations budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial goals.
• Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to identify cost-saving measures and financial efficiency.
• Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management on the performance of operational activities, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
Compliance, Health & Safety:
• Ensure all production and operational processes comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
• Take responsibility for health and safety management, ensuring that operational activities are conducted in a safe environment for all employees.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, implementing any necessary changes or improvements.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Directly manage the operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to build a strong, high-performing team.
• In collaboration with the HR department, conduct regular performance evaluations, setting clear goals and expectations while providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment that emphasizes communication, problemsolving, and innovation.
• Working with HR to recruit, train, and onboard new team members, ensuring they are aligned with company values and standards.
Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency:
• Analyze current operational processes and performance, identifying areas of inefficiency or bottlenecks in production and logistics.
• Design and implement process improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and solve operational challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational improvements with broader company goals, ensuring cohesion across departments.
• Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency:

Supply Chain & Logistics Management:
• Manage all aspects of the supply chain, including vendor relationships, material sourcing, order fulfillment, and logistics.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising on quality.
• Develop and refine the distribution strategy, ensuring that products are delivered to customers in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Optimize warehouse operations and inventory management to minimize waste, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate logistics processes to identify cost-saving opportunities, including transportation, shipping, and warehousing improvements.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or certification in operational management is highly desirable.
• 5-10+ years of experience in operations management, with a strong focus on production and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage and scale operational processes in a fast-growing or complex business
• environment.
• Deep knowledge of production workflows, process optimization, and quality assurance methods.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional projects.
• Financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets and performing cost-benefit analyses.
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, ERP systems, project management tools, and other
• relevant operational software.
