JOB DETAILS:
Optica started in 1959 is the largest and one of the oldest Optical companies in East and Central Africa. We have 70 branches in Kenya and are opening outlets in Uganda as part of our expansion.
We are looking for young, motivated qualified Optometrist to join our company.

Location
Kampala, Uganda

Description
• Conducting a thorough eye examination
• Communicating with patient, understanding their visual needs, understanding their clinical history
• Examining the eyes of patients of all ages to detect signs, vision defects, injury, disease, or abnormalities (glaucoma etc). Being aware of signs and symptoms of general health conditions (e.g.diabetes, cataracts);
• Prescribing and fitting spectacles or contact lenses for correcting vision problems.
• Educating and counsel patients on eye care vision-related matters;

Requirements
• Qualified Optometrist with B.Sc in Optometry
• Minimum 1 year work experience as an Optometrist
• A valid AHPC Certificate of Registration
• Good English and Luganda speaking skills

Remuneration
An attractive remuneration packages with benefits will be offered based on the caliber of the candidate
