Job title: PMEAL Officer
Reporting to: Programme Manager
Duty Station: Kaabong
Deadline: 22nd April 2022 at 5.00 PM

Job summary:
You will lead and ensure high quality project planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) of the Integrated Community Agriculture and Nutrition (ICAN) Activity in Kaabong.

Specific tasks and responsibilities:
• Support the programme team
• System Development
• Data Management and Analysis
• Communication and Reporting
• Capacity building

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Works, Statistics, Information Management, Economics, Project Management, Community Development or other relevant academic background
• Postgraduate training in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an NGO implementing MEAL systems for livelihoods, food security and nutrition or governance.
• Prior experience in working with USAID funded project will be an added advantage
• Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle and possession of a riding permit will be an added advantage
• Experience in proposal writing, grants management, report writing will be an added advantage
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative M&E data collection and analysis methods, including tracking outcome indicators is desirable.
• Strong team player and able to work well with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse groups of people.
• Ability and flexibility to travel within Karamoja region and beyond.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Spiritual maturity
• Proficiency in statistical analysis using SPSS, STATA, Excel, among others
• Experience in program design and M&E plan development
• Ability to design M&E tools, surveys and evaluations
• Experience in designing M&E methodologies and tools, and the ability to train and coach others in their use is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills
