We are a brand new TV in Uganda with primary objective of providing affordable premium content to audiences across Africa. Our mission is to create world class channels that enable Ugandans to access top—notch programming, easily and freely. We are looking for hardworking and talented professionals to fill the following positions:

PR & Marketing Manager
Reports to: Country General Manager
Department: PR &Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowing clients, personally visiting and advising what the company has to offer with the aid of marketing staff.
  
• Responding to issues of public concern in relation to the company that need to be addressed.
  
• Assessing company needs regularly with the use of survey techniques, opinion researches and studying and evaluating the results obtained.
  
• Represent Company at press conferences, functions, exhibitions etc as requested by Management.
  
• Liaise with press, sponsors and customers on company issues Image etc.
  
• Arranging interviews, handling sponsorships and maintaining public contact.
  
• Promotes company branding and organizes activities that are geared towards its enhancement;
  
• Assist HR and Management with internal PR among staff by serving as link to top management advising on all internal and external matters connected with the company
  
• Conducting schools on study tours around station.
  
• News anchoring & news interviews.

Management may assign any other duties from time to time.

Job specifications

• Masters degree in a Mass Com or Business Administration.
  
• Chartered institute of Marketing certificate
  
• Diploma in Digital Marketing Professional qualification:
  
• Certificates in Customer Care Skills and Public Relations

Minimum experience:

5 years of post qualification experience in a busy organization

Personal attributes:

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Organizing and coordinating skills.
  
• Good analytical skills
  
• Proficiency in all phases of duties performed.
  
• Good command of the English language.
