JOB DETAILS:
Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a Packaging Engineer based in Kampala. As Packaging Engineer you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:

• Drive the deployment of the Company Asset Management strategy in the Plant.
  
• Be responsible for the overall reliability and uptime ot packaging.
  
• implement the asset care plan for the Plant ensuring the Engineering team have the required competencies to execute the plan.
  
• Lead the OEM SPP (Supplier Partnering Programme) forthe Plant and monitor Service Agreements.
  
• Ensure Plant optimization.
  
• Ensure that the Packaging Engineering team applies proper safety and housekeeping procedures, and all legal requirements when carn/ing out their tasks.
  
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching for the team to ensure productivity.
  
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Experience as a Packaging Unit Manager is an added advantage
  
• Minimum: 3 years’ maintenance experience
  
• Previous Line management experience is an added advantage
  
• Deep understanding of packaging operations, processes and systems.
  
• Understanding of Project management
  
• Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess good analytical ability and problem solving skills.
