Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies; or Business and Office Management; or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Personal Secretary for performing the following duties:-
- Drawing up and monitoring programmes, activities and appointments of the immediate supervisor;
- Taking dictation, transcribing and presenting accurate and error free work.
- Providing timely responses to inquiries and correspondences to the office;
- Organizing meetings; taking minutes and conveying decisions of such meetings to the relevant Officers/offices;
- Drafting letters of routine nature;
- Requisitioning, managing and accounting for office imprest;
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the office;
- Managing office records following established security and records management procedures and guidelines;
- Requisitioning and managing office stationery and equipment;
- Managing performance of assigned support staff;
- Receiving and dispatching mail;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
