Desirable Requirements:
• More than 8 years of experience, expert on Primavera, MS project, and expert on delay analysis.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, a Master’s degree is an added advantage. Experience working on similar assignments in Sub-Saharan Africa and, ideally, in Uganda. Knowledge of the Islamic Development Bank, World Bank, EU, and other major funding agency project implementation procedures.
• Knowledge of UNRA and appropriate regional/international design and construction standards. Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team preferably with Ugandan consultants.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Monitor the contractor’s program of Work and the physical progress
• Assist the Engineer's representative in managing quantity and cost.
• Assist the Engineer, Engineer’s representative, and Contracts- Claim Specialists in assessing the Contractor’s claims.
• Keep full and detailed permanent site records, which will include site correspondence, survey data, quality acceptance data, day work records, site diaries, measurements, and other field records.
• Prepare the consultant Progress Reports
• Review the Contractor’s Monthly Progress Report
• Input for EOT determination
• Review the Contractor’s weekly program
• Deliverables for UNRA and Engineer Site Meeting
• Attending Site Meetings
• Reviewing project documents and previous correspondences for the Project
• Coordinate with meeting participants and Drafting MOM
• Reviewing Contractor Program of works with its issued comments
• Any other activities requested by the Resident Engineer

Their service contract will run for one -year on a renewable basis.
