JOB DETAILS:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Investigate sites to determine and evaluate construction conditions.
• Prepare engineering calculations required for the design of projects and supervise the drafting of plans.
• Produce detailed designs and documentation for the construction, implementation, and monitoring of civil engineering projects.
• Organize the delivery of materials, plant machinery and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labour.
• Develop detailed programs for the coordination of site activities.
• Work with other engineers, foremen, surveyor, Safety and environmental Officer or any other staff involved in the project, in a teamwork and professionalism.
• Assist with the computerized design of the projects.
• Coordinate and direct research, development and testing of materials, processes or systems related to civil engineering works.
• Research, advise on and plan the control and minimization of air, water and solid waste pollution, and the management of water resources.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning of completed works.
• Process, analyze and interpret reports on loading, labour, equipment, productivity, quality, materials, and performance.
• Analyze risks associated with Safety procedures to be implemented on the works and natural disasters (including fires and floods), and design structures and services to meet appropriate standards.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or in a related field.
• 15 years of proven work experience working on international construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge in budget-measurements, investigations and analyzing data (maps, reports, tests and drawings), assessing risks, materials and potential costs.
• Proficient in implementing quality control processes, free drawing, Geometric and architectural drawings, maquettes, tapestry.
• Advanced knowledge in Engineering software programs of MS Project, AutoCAD, Archicads. construction procedures.
