JOB DETAILS:
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre or other recognized Institution as well as a Masters Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of six (6) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been served at a Senior Officer level in Government or reputable organization

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Assistant Commissioner – Inspection and Compliance for performing the following duties:-

- Developing and reviewing NGO inspection and compliance guidelines, policies and standards;
- Conducting regular inspection and compliance programs/ surveys on NGO projects and activities in the country;
- Preparing periodic reports on inspection and compliance activities and submitting them to relevant stakeholders;
- Developing and maintaining compliance tracking and inspection tools;
- Developing and reviewing methodologies and approaches for NGO inspections and compliance reviews;
- Developing and reviewing awareness and sensitization material in relation to NGOs operation standards guidelines;
- Carrying out awareness and sensitization programmes in relation to NGOs operation standards and guidelines;
- Providing technical support and guidance on NGO inspection and compliance;

- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
